Over twenty percent of our patients, both surgical and non-surgical are men. Surprised? Most people are. But the simple fact is that men, too, want to feel good about how they look. Like women, they want trimmer waists and fewer wrinkles. It’s a fact; men have a new attitude about skin care and plastic surgery.

The desire to retain a youthful look in today’s competitive world prompts many to action, as the majority of the men we treat are highly visible professionals. Frequent travel and job stress can result in a tired look that does not accurately reflect on job performance. One explains, ”in the business world the feeling is if you look tired or like you don’t take care of yourself, people think you can’t keep up.”

Some men have been unhappy with a certain part of their body all of their lives and are becoming aware of what can be accomplished under the care of a board-certified plastic surgeon. Top Three Non-Surgical Procedures For Men: 

 

Botox- This is a great procedure that is super-popular for men because they get real results and don’t have to take any time off. Furrowed brows, wrinkled foreheads and crow’s feet can all be corrected in about ten minutes. Removing the lines in these areas can go a long way toward a younger and more relaxed look at work.

Injectable fillers- Restylane and Juvederm are becoming as popular as Botox for men because of the areas that can be treated with little or no recovery time.
