Quick Bio of Dr. Reath
Dr. David Reath serves as Chairman of the Public Education Committee of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, (ASPS). He is an official spokesperson for the ASPS and also served for two years as Member-at-Large of the Board of Directors of the ASPS.
He blogs about patient education in addition to speaking on the use of social media for physicians. Dr. Reath was featured in Entrepreneur Magazine's "How to Increase Social Sharing to Generate More Leads". (December 2011)
He has been in practice in Knoxville, Tennessee since 1986 and is an Associate Professor at the University of Tennessee Medical Center.
He graduated from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. His surgical internship and residency were completed at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond and he performed his Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
