About Us

Staff-outside

Dr. Reath established his practice of plastic surgery in Knoxville in 1986, almost three decades ago. Since that time much has changed in medicine and in plastic surgery. And, indeed, our practice has seen many changes and has evolved into one of the leading plastic surgery practices in East Tennessee. We are now primarily focused on aesthetic or cosmetic surgery. However, one thing has not changed: our practice philosophy. Simply put, we want to take care of you as we would want to be taken care of if we were the patient. This requires an individualized and personal approach to each patient in order to understand and meet their needs.

This philosophy is not just Dr. Reath’s, but that of everyone in our practice. You will notice this difference the first time you walk into our office. Our front office staff greets you as you come in and does whatever they can to make you feel comfortable (the pine nut coffee that we serve in the waiting room is legendary). Our staff doesn’t hide behind glass windows or file cabinets. Instead they are completely available to you. And they’re really nice.

If there is one thing we hear from our patients, who visit us from the Knoxville area, Johnson City, Cookeville, Cleveland, and beyond, it is that Dr. Reath and his staff members spend a great deal of time with patients, and are very friendly and informative. In order to come to know you and take care of you properly we need to spend time with you; and we do.

When you are evaluating and considering a plastic surgeon, it is important to get to know his staff. Truly this is a hidden strength of Dr. Reath’s practice. His staff is well-trained and extremely responsive to patients. But it’s not just about returning your phone calls in a timely manner; it’s about knowing you and knowing what you need. It’s a personal thing, and you can’t fake it.

When it comes to your surgical experience, we want to make it as easy as possible, and do everything we can to insure you have a great result. We created eBooks to help inform you about breast augmentation and help you plan for your recovery. We provide you with a handy recovery guide to help when you get home. And, we offer vitamins, surgical garments and ice packs to help you heal.

Dr. Reath has invested his professional life to his craft of plastic surgery. Although his experience has been very broad, his focus is on cosmetic surgery of the breast, body, and face. The changes patients experience through these operations can be profound. Our goal is that you benefit from your procedure throughout the rest of your life. Dr. Reath and his staff are committed to getting to know you on a personal level in order to achieve the results you want. It’s why our motto is the personal approach to personal change.
