CoolSculpting is a noninvasive method for addressing troublesome fat cells by chilling them until they crystalize. We were the first to bring CoolSculpting to Knoxville in 2012 and have seen great results with our patients. All of the applicators we’ve had in the past were too big to treat little areas of fat with CoolSculpting. Now we can use CoolSculpting to treat smaller pockets of fat—the area under the chin, neck, armpit puffs, and knees—with a new miniature applicator, the CoolMini.
During a session, the neck fat is placed into the curved applicator of the CoolMini. The arctic-level cold quickly numbs the area, so it’s pretty comfortable during the 45-minute treatment. FDA clearance of the CoolMini was based on a trial with patients having two treatments. No significant adverse events were observed and patients experienced little or no discomfort or downtime. Patients in the clinical study saw results at three weeks but the best results were observed after one to three months; your experience may vary.
Although CoolSculpting and liposuction are equally effective in the neck, we are certainly doing more CoolSculpting here than liposuction in the year since the CoolMini applicator arrived. The other day Natasha made the rounds in the office sharing her latest before and after photo saying, “I love treating chins!”
Here is the cost for a 45-minute CoolSculpting treatment for the neck/double chin at our Knoxville practice:
CoolMini Neck/Double Chin Pricing
$750 per treatment
Most people need 2 CoolSculpting treatments on the neck or double chin to attain their desired results.
CoolMini Armpit Puff and Knee Pricing
$1,500 for one treatment on both sides

Real Patient Photos See actual results from Dr. Reath
Quietly effective and totally charming, Natasha has been performing the CoolSculpting treatments at our office since we brought in the technology over five years ago.
Experience and training matter in this arena. Even though it is a non-surgical procedure, CoolSculpting is very technique-driven. There is a real learning curve before a provider really understands how to get the best results when treating patients, and Natasha is among the best.
Not only has she performed the most CoolSculpting treatments in Knoxville, but Dr. Reath flew her to Dallas and Montreal to train for days with the top CoolSculpting practices in the US and Canada. Natasha is the only CoolSculpting provider in Knoxville to attend the advanced CoolSculpting University in San Francisco…twice! You will benefit from her added experience and all the best practices she learned from the experts.
“I’ve always been such a people person, and helping both patients and Dr. Reath has been very fulfilling. Our patients’ excitement after they see the amazing results from their CoolSculpting treatments makes me excited too. It’s definitely one of the best parts of my job!”
