Finding someone who offers the kind of effective aesthetic enhancement results that bring out your natural beauty, as well as giving you the personalized, compassionate care you will need, may cause you to look outside your own community. You may decide the best option is for you to travel here to Knoxville, Tennessee for your plastic surgery.
Many patients from outside the Knoxville area choose Dr. Reath. As you might expect, some are from rural communities that don’t have local access to a board-certified plastic surgeon. However, most come from major metropolitan areas attracted by Dr. Reath’s national reputation, our reasonable surgical fees and the friendly southern hospitality.
We welcome patients from all over the world and make it a point to help patients arrange travel to the area, as well as recommend the best places to stay for your visit. We especially welcome members of our armed services and are honored to help you arrange your surgery during your next military leave.
Prior to your arrival, we will complete as much pre-operative work as possible so that no amount of time is wasted. In fact, you can take the first step in that process by completing and faxing us the new patient form and medical history questionnaire and sending us photos by email, or by regular mail if you prefer. Our fax number is (865)-450-9949. Our Patient Care Co-ordinator, Theresa, will assist you with your photos. Her email address is TheresaW@dbreath.com.
We ask that you arrive in Knoxville at least 2-to-3 days before your surgery date so that our Dr. Reath can complete a full physical evaluation and the final pre-operative workup. Depending on your procedure, we may request that you spend at least 10-14 days in Knoxville so that your progress can be monitored.
Please supply us with your hometown physician’s contact information so that we can discuss your recovery needs with him or her once you return. You will also want to consult with your primary care physician before coming to Knoxville so that any labs or necessary tests for medical clearance can be obtained.
We recommend that you bring a friend or family member along so you will have someone to take care of your needs during recovery. However, keep in mind that Dr. Reath and his staff are committed to help in monitoring your progress and tending to your post-operative needs.
Knoxville is a charming university town bordering the Smoky Mountains. We have high-quality hotels and lots of things to do while you are here. We can recommend an array of local accommodations that are close to our plastic surgery practice in Knoxville, as well as restaurants, shopping areas and other attractions. Because of our central location, we are within eight hours drive to a large portion of the United States. Plus, virtually all major airlines offer service to Knoxville, and we will be happy to help you set up your itinerary.
To start the ball rolling, please print out our convenient virtual consultation forms, new patient form and medical history questionnaire. By filling out our online examination and sending us pictures of the areas you are looking to improve, our Knoxville office staff will be able to start the evaluation process as early as possible.
