Botox- Injectable wrinkle relaxers like Botox or Dysport are super-popular for men because they provide real results and you don’t have to take any time off work. A brief, free injectable consultation with Dr. Reath will help you better understand what to expect. Furrowed brows, wrinkled foreheads and crow’s feet can all be corrected in about ten minutes. Removing the lines in these areas can go a long way toward a younger and more relaxed look at work.
Botox has many other medical uses besides wrinkle-reduction. One of the most helpful is for controlling Hyperhidrosis, a medical condition in which a person sweats excessively and unpredictably. People with hyperhidrosis may sweat even when the temperature is cool or when they are at rest. Many people who suffer from Hyperhidrosis tell us that they get nervous because they sweat, then sweat more because they are nervous. It affects both men and women.
Botox can be a life-changing, temporary treatment for those suffering from severe underarm sweating. It is FDA-approved for the treatment primary axillary hyperhidrosis. Small doses are injected into the underarm areas to temporarily block the nerves that stimulate sweating. It lasts from 7 to 9 months. Nurse Injector Jill Maze will tell you that these are some of her happiest patients.

He shared his experience in an interview recently published on our blog.
Hyaluronic acid fillers like Juvederm are becoming as popular as Botox for men because of the areas that can be treated with little or no recovery time. Men seem to get especially good results from the contouring under the eyes with fillers because they often are troubled with more pronounced hollows under the eyes. Because hyaluronic acid fillers are so easy to mold, they are used for creases in the ears, chin area and acne scars. The fold from the nose to the side of the mouth (nasolabial fold) can be filled in with Juvederm as well as the lines on the frown area. This is most effective when used in conjunction with Botox to eliminate the movements that cause these lines.
Juvederm XC is now available in four different formulations:
|Juvederm Pricing||Cost per Syringe|
|New! Juvederm Volbella XC||$400|
|Juvederm Ultra XC||$600|
|Juvederm Ultra Plus XC||$650|
|Juvederm Voluma XC||$900|
Multiple syringe discounts are available.

Jill is an extraordinarily gifted Nurse Injector. Working under the direct supervision of Dr. Reath since 2008, her extensive training and gentle touch is a winning combination. Her patients attest to her caring bedside manner, her skilled professionalism and her aesthetic expertise. Many drive all the way from Nashville and Atlanta because she is that good.
Every year Jill travels across the country to train with the most renowned experts in cosmetic injectables to refine her skills and bring back new techniques to our patients. This area requires a unique blend of artistry and science as well as the need to stay current, so Jill will continue her travels in the U.S. and Canada to observe the leaders in her field.
This advanced training is why she has been using flexible cannulas for the past four years to inject fillers. Flexible cannulas are not only safer than needles, they cause far less bruising and discomfort for her patients. She is the only injector in Knoxville to use them.
She is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses. She was in the first class in the country to attend the Advanced Injector Competence Training Course designed by the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons in Las Vegas. In addition, she received specialized instruction on techniques for using Botox® for areas other than the upper face. She is also trained and experienced with the recently FDA-approved filler Juvederm Voluma.
Besides she is so accomplished, many patients are surprised that Jill is completely down to earth and has a wicked sense of humor. It’s pretty common for us to hear them giggling down the hall into their ice packs as they leave her room.
