When you are thinking about elective cosmetic surgery, one of your considerations will always be the cost of the surgery. This is different from most other types of medical care that you may receive, where medical insurance will be picking up the tab. Cosmetic surgery is different, and like it or not, cost is an important factor and accurate information about the cost is what you really need.
If you have browsed our website and looked at different procedures, or have leafed through the pages of our magazine Your Beauty, you will see that we have published the prices for you. Many other offices will not include this information, or do not list what is (or is not) included in their pricing. Our feeling is that if we are going to put you, the patient, first, you should have easy access to plastic surgery costs. And preferably before you come into the office.
There are a lot of misconceptions in the media and among the general public about the cost of plastic surgery. Does a facelift cost $30,000? Can I get a breast enlargement for $2500? The answer is no and probably not from a Board-certified plastic surgeon. Hopefully we can clear up a lot of this. Actually, it is more frequent that we hear from patients that they expected an operation to cost more, than to hear that the cost was way over what they thought it might be.
It is very important to know what is included in the costs that are listed. Sometimes only the surgeon’s fees are listed, and not other costs such as anesthesia or operating room expenses. Those are the hidden costs that could jump up to bite you later on. In such cases, you could be in for a rude awakening. So, when you look at our procedure pricing, here’s what is included:
The only things that your surgical fee does not cover is the cost of prescriptions, vitamins and any labwork, if necessary.
As you can see, if someone is only listing the surgeon’s fee, there can be a lot of other things that can creep into your checkbook. Occasionally an operation does not fit into one of the things we have listed. In such a case, we will give you a range of the cost and determine the exact cost once we have spoken with the hospital or surgery center. Also, financing will have some effect on things, which is why we have a 5% discount when you don’t finance your procedure.
Cosmetic surgery is always a bit of a strange animal, medically speaking. We must always use the best medical judgment and techniques to insure a good, and safe outcome (like any other operation). And yet the operations are consumer driven, so to speak. And because of this, understanding the cost is very important.
This page lists pricing on some of our most popular plastic surgery procedures. More specific procedure pricing is located on the individual surgical procedure pages, about halfway down the page.
If you are interested in financing your procedure the prices on this page will give you a better idea of the amount you would like to finance. You can also can plug your procedure price into the CareCredit Calculator to estimate your monthly payments.
Great news! If you would prefer to pay with cash or check, instead of credit card or financing, we offer a 5% discount.

The cost of a breast lift depends on several factors: the incision site, the amount of skin to be removed and whether or not implants are used. If you are a massive weight loss patient your breast lift will be more expensive because there is more skin to be removed, which takes more time in the operating room.
The cost of a breast lift with Dr. Reath includes both surgical and anesthesia fees, post-surgical bra, implants if you want them, our exclusive recovery kit and all follow-up visits.
Note: The pricing below is for breast lifts with no implants and breast lifts with silicone implants because they are by far the most popular. If you want saline implants, just subtract $1,000 from the silicone implant price. If you want form-stable silicone implants (aka gummy bear implants) you’ll add $1,000 to the silicone implant price.

When reviewing tummy tuck pricing please keep in mind that the overwhelming majority of patients we see are candidates for a full abdominoplasty. Some very lucky ones only need the area below their belly buttons fixed. For them a modified (mini) abdominoplasty is just the ticket. If you have a large amount of excess skin to be removed from major fluctuations in weight, you may need an extended procedure which takes more time in the operating room and could require a hospital stay.

It is difficult to give you pricing for circumferential body lift surgery because the cost varies so widely from patient to patient. The price range for most patients is between $14,000 and $17,000. If you just want an abdominoplasty or just want a buttock thigh lift, the price is about half of that. The cost is dependent on the amount of skin and fat to be removed and the time it will take in the operating room. Most patients will need to spend at least one night in the hospital but some require two nights and others can be treated as an outpatient. In addition, there will be a certain amount of labwork required.
During your consultation, you will be given a surgical quote which will detail these costs based on your particular needs. It will include surgery fees, anesthesia, any overnights, all follow-up visits and our exclusive recovery kit.
The cost of an arm lift with Dr. Reath’s includes both surgical and anesthesia fees, our exclusive recovery kit and all follow-up visits.
The procedure that causes the most confusion in terms of expectations and pricing is actually breast augmentation. Many women are surprised to learn that a breast lift is actually the recommended procedure, rather than just a straight augmentation. After all, if you have small breasts, why would you need a lift, right?
The fact is that many women do need a breast lift along with augmentation to achieve a pleasing shape and perkiness. It happens most frequently with women who have had children, but not always.
Standing in front of a mirror, look at your nipples in relation to the natural crease of your breasts. If your nipples are lower than your breast crease before surgery, adding implants without removing excess skin will make them more saggy. (Sad, but true. You’ll thank us ten years from now!)
If this sounds like you, you may also want to look at the breast lift procedure page for before and after photos. The pictures give you a better idea of when a lift is needed and the great results when performed along with an augmentation.
